Chris Turner is an award-winning writer and producer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His work spans film, humor, horror, and comics, showcasing a versatile storytelling style that's earned recognition across multiple mediums.
His films have screened at over 90 festivals worldwide—including the Toronto International Film Festival and the Atlantic International Film Festival—winning more than 30 awards and airing on CBC, Bravo!, and Belfast TV.
As a writer, his humor and satire have been featured in SlackJaw, Points in Case, Robot Butt, Little Old Lady Comedy, and Frazzled. His work also includes an award-winning comic book series and a #1 bestseller in horror fiction on Amazon.
A graduate of Dalhousie University and the Vancouver Film School, Chris continues sharpening his comedic voice through sketch, stand-up, and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
